The University of Wisconsin--Eau Claire Alumni Association selected its first president in 1921. Nonetheless, the earliest documented activity of the Association was the celebration of Alumni Day in 1932. Exisitng records indicate that regular Association meetings and class reunions were being held by at least 1938. The first commencement of the Eau Claire State Normal School was held in June 1917.
